We also know we are not the farmer direct...but this can be a plus  for you as a consumer,as we  in  a small way can monitor what we are bringing you to eat. This  keeps our  standard high .From time to time we can get food items that need to be brought up to a better quality.If a farmer does not want to bring it up for us and make it right we move on ...try to find another small  farmer that can make the item better as we once had it .This farmer may also be way out of the area.But  if we have an item that everyone likes for  instance butter,we keep searching for a better butter.We find it.Every thing then remains the same.But we will not lower our standards and still keep ordering from that farmer his product that has lost  quality.
